Favorite Restaurants in LA Right Now

If you follow me on Snapchat (JuliaFriedmann) you can see that the majority of the snaps I post are of food! I am always being asked where I am eating and I thought I would start sharing my favorite restaurants on my blog! Let me know what you think :)

Cecconi's

• Where: West Hollywood
• What: Italian
• Service: Pretty good
• Setting: Very trendy & pretty, patio seating is the move if available!
• Price: $$ (moderate)
• Favorite dish I ordered: Baked Eggs on the brunch menu!

What we ordered (4 of us): Baked Eggs, Meatballs, Burrata & Beets Salad, Ahi Tuna Tartare, & the Bresaola, Wild Arugula, Burrata Pizza. AH-mazing!

Republique

• Where: off of La Brea & 3rd
• What: French
• Price: $$$ (moderate to pricey)
• Service: Excellent
• Setting: beautiful, a little loud
• Favorite dish I ordered: Mary's Organic Rotisserie Chicken (unreal garlic flavor) or the Normandy Butter: imported from Normandy, France! I could eat it by itself :P

What we ordered (2 of us): Sweet Potato Beignets, Hamachi Crudo, Bread with Normandy Butter, Homemade Tagliatelle Carbonara, Mary's Organic Rotisserie Chicken, & the Butter Soufflé (actually very light and fluffy!)

Malibu Cafe at Calamigos Ranch

• Where: Malibu off of Kanan Road
• What: American
• Price: $$ (moderate)
• Service: Excellent
• Setting: beautiful, romantic
• Favorite dish I ordered: the Bread Pudding (tasted like a churro)
• What we ordered (2 of us): Corn & Crab Chowder, Mac & Cheese Balls, Chicken Pot Pie, Short Ribs on top of Sautéed Spinach & Mashed Potatoes, & the BOMB Bread Pudding.
