We all like to munch on something while we binge watch our favorite shows

So here are some healthy & tasty snack ideas that won't ruin your diet!

In this post, I am talking about some healthy snacks that will satisfy your cravings while you watch your favorite TV shows or a movie!

Popcorn

There has been a ton of speculation regarding whether popcorn is actually healthy or not, and while I cannot seem to find a clear answer, I'm a strong believer in everything being fine for you in moderation! With that being said, when choosing a popcorn to snack on, steer clear of the chocolatey or sugary choices and go for a lightly salted or lightly buttered flavor. My personal favorite is the Original Skinny Pop which has just 39 calories per cup! You can eat 4 cups and still be under 200 calories, it's a done deal for me!

Apple & Almond Butter

I love the contrast of flavors between a juicy and sweet apple to the nutty and salty almond butter! In fact, lately I have been eating an apple with a tablespoon of almond butter as a snack daily since together they are under 150 calories. This pair is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth and your salty side! I go for Honeycrisp apples because of their crunch and Trader Joe's almond butter is my favorite! They make for a great dessert too! Like they say, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away!"

Veggies with Fresh Guacamole

Guac is life - LITERALLY. With avocado being one of the healthiest fats you can eat, guacamole should be what you are eating more of! Just mash a fourth of an avocado with salt, pepper, lemon or lime, and then you can add onion, tomato, and cilantro to taste. I like the crunch that chips give me, but I've learned to like celery and carrots with guacamole too! With celery having little to no calories, this pairing will never ruin your diet!

Carrots & Hummus

Yes, we all like pita chips with our hummus but I swear the crunch that carrots have are sure to satisfy you as you approach the climax of your favorite show! Hummus is made out of garbanzo beans and olive oil, aka healthy fats which are perfectly fine to eat in moderation. So I'm not saying eat the whole tub of hummus with carrots, but eat a quarter of it. Surprisingly enough, this combo is very filling, a handful of carrots dipped in the hummus does the trick for me! My favorite hummus is by Sabra and it's just their original version. Trader Joe's original hummus is great too!
