London + Soho Farmhouse

My summer vacation this year was a 3 week trip to England and Israel with my boyfriend, Harry! Harry is from London, so we began our trip where he grew up and I got to meet his amazing family and he gave me the ultimate tour of where he went to school, where he used to hang out, etc. I’ve been to London before, so we didn’t do all the touristy stuff this time, we hung out with friends, walked a ton, went to the Travis Scott concert at the O2 and celebrated his birthday at Soho Farmhouse just the two of us.

So let’s start with London…

London is one of my favorite cities due to the culture, the history, the architecture, the list goes on. I figured I would simplify this for you and put everything in a list form, and then give you the option to shop my looks below. Since I was socializing with a lot of the time and busy celebrating a big birthday, food wasn't my biggest priority this trip, so I kinda just went wherever was nearby when I got hungry and these ended up being the places.

Where I Stayed:

The Grove Hotel

The Grove is an English country estate in Hertfordshire, about 40 minutes from Central London by car. The grounds and the service at this hotel are just insanely beautiful. The rooms are spacious but cozy at the same time, and the spa facilities are seriously EVERYTHING. The estate has a ton of history, it was the weekend home for Queen Victoria and has been beautifully restored and turned into a more than five-star hotel (if that’s a thing). I highly recommend staying here if you want an English countryside getaway just 18 miles outside London.

Where I Ate:

The Orange Tree, Totteridge

The Detox Kitchen, Fitzrovia

Uli, Notting Hill

Peggy Porshen Cakes

Nandos (they are everywhere)

Where I Explored:

Piccadilly

The O2

Mayfair

Oxford Street

Notting Hill

Primrose Hill

Soho Farmhouse

I’ve been wanting to visit Soho Farmhouse from the second I saw photos of this hundred acre oasis. It is located about 2 hours from central London, literally in the middle of nowhere. FYI: Soho House is a members only club, and to stay at the Farmhouse, you need to be a member, be with a member or have a member book it for you. My last sentence sounds really snobby, but I’m just trying to be helpful and informative! Soho Farmhouse is one of the most chill places I have ever been and it’s so stunningly beautiful, I couldn’t stop taking photos of everything, even though you technically are not supposed to, but shush don’t tell!

We went for the night and stayed in what they call a Piglet. It was literally a dream. SO COZY. The food there is phenomenal, I left my phone in the room when we went to dinner, but honestly my meal at Pen Yen (their asian restaurant) was one of the best meals I have ever had. From sashimi, to perfectly prepared eggplant, and lots in between that I can’t remember, I was in love with every bite… Yes, I am a passionate foodie.

Since we only stayed for one night because we were leaving for Israel the next morning, I wasn't able to do everything I wanted like ride horses, watch a film in their movie theater, or visit the spa, so I will definitely be back next time I’m in the UK.
