Last Minute Thanksgiving Ideas

Headed to a last minute Thanksgiving feast or hosting your own? I've got you covered!

With Thanksgiving being tomorrow, I wanted to take a moment and say thank you. Thank you to everyone who reads my blog and follows my everyday life. I really truly appreciate it so much and I love sharing my ideas, photos, and feeling with you. This Thanksgiving, I will be with my family in Los Angeles and helping my mom do all the cooking for the big day. If you are last minute when it comes to these sorts of things like I am, then this post is for you!

Food Ideas

Here are a few of my favorite last minute Thanksgiving staples to whip up! Stovetop or any store bought cornbread stuffing is a must and it takes about 5 minutes to make. Literally all you need is 5 minutes and you are good to go! If you want to cheat your friends and family, you can buy Ocean Spray canned cranberry sauce, mash it up and add some lemon to give it a fresh taste! If you aren't sure what to bring to someone's home, Pumpkin Pie or Pecan Pie are two Thanksgiving staples that you can buy at the market. Vanilla bean ice cream never hurt anything either!

Table Decor Ideas

From the time I was a child, my mom would make me go outside and find some pretty looking fall leaves to put on the table. Looking back, that was such a great idea and a perfect last minute fix! You can also add votive candles around the table to give off a pretty look. Wrapping napkins in twine, and then putting them on each persons plate, gives a rustic and warm touch too! If you are looking for more, a good wine is never a bad idea!
